In addition to my standard sizing, VAVA pieces can be customized in a variety of ways to better suit you. Most of the time, the process of designing a customized piece is something that I do with a customer, making suggestions and offering options based on their particular needs and feedback.
Below you’ll find a list of my most popular alterations. It doesn’t represent every possible option I offer, but I hope that it will give you a general idea of what kind of customizations are available. If you’re looking for something you don’t see, if you’re (understandably) overwhelmed by the options, or if you'd like to talk specifics or place a custom order, I would love to work with you directly.
BRALETTES
STRAP LENGTH
Shorter or longer straps to better fit your height/torso length.
Available on all designs. Complimentary.
STRAP PLACEMENT
Strap placement can be adjusted to correct for straps that slip or roll, or for aesthetic preference.
Available on all Camisole designs. Complimentary.
ADD ADJUSTABLE STRAPS
Available in two widths: standard ½” width and wider ¾” width for more comfort and support.
Available on all Camisole designs. $10
Thicker, more supportive elastic backing for lace straps. Proves more comfortable support, especially for those who wear a larger cup size. For an equivalent option for camisole designs, check out the ¾” adjustable strap option.
Available on Lace Racerback and Plunge Back designs. Complimentary.
Aesthetically beautiful, and adds extra support by distributing weight across the entire back.
Available on Lace Racerback designs. $4
Band length can be shortened or made more longline for aesthetic preference. Shortening the band length can also help to prevent the band from rolling if the narrowest part of your torso is higher up around your ribcage, rather than further down closer to the navel.

CUP PLACEMENT AND COVERAGE
Cup placement and/or coverage can be adjusted to perfect coverage and fit depending on your preferences and for those with breasts set wider or closer together.

ADD POCKETS FOR CUP INSERTS
Organic cotton front lining pockets for your own cup inserts.

Traditional back closure with three adjustments.

BOTTOMS
CUSTOM PROPORTIONS
Custom cut to your waist and hip proportions/measurements.

For aesthetic preference or to better adjust for your height or torso length.

Wider cut through the crotch/gusset for those with a penis. Also a great option for those who prefer more coverage through the crotch and/or those with a larger labia. For those with a penis, I’ve developed two versions of this alteration specific to how you’d like to wear your undies:
Wide Cut: For individuals with a penis to wear au natural. Made with a wider gusset and without a liner for a more comfortable fit.
Tuck Cut: Made with a wider gusset and an extra layer of thick, stretchy organic cotton lining to provide light compression and keep everything comfortably in place.

CROTCHLESS // OPEN GUSSET
Functional for fun.
Available on all designs. $10
Adjustment around the leg openings to provide more coverage in the lower abdomen, for those with a full or hanging lower belly.

For those whose bums are fuller or flatter than my standard patterns cater to; this adjusts the coverage and bottom hem to your proportions. No riding up for those with a fuller butt, and no losseness at the hem for those with a flatter butt.

GENERAL
STANDARD MATERIALS SUBSTITUTIONS
For those who would like to request a specific material change to their order. Some common examples include substituting Organic Cotton in place of Mesh for the back panel of underwear, or substituting one lace material for another.
