I see VAVA as one small iteration of a more respectful way of relating to one another and creating a better, richer world for us to inhabit together. To further that vision, I reinvest a minimum of 10% of my earnings in projects that are aligned with VAVA's values.

As a part of the apparel industry, VAVA’s main areas of focus are environmental impact and labor rights, both of which I aim to approach with an intersectional understanding (that is, an understanding of the ways in which systems of inequity related to race, gender, ethnicity, class, nationality, immigration status, ability, and other factors compound with and reinforce one another.) Recent donations have gone to support the following organizations:
